What is Wilco?

Wilco is a digital pilot logbook for iOS and macOS. It helps pilots track their flights, import rosters, log duty times, and generate professional statistics — all in one place.

Beyond logging, Wilco also includes everyday tools to make a pilot’s life easier: duty and rest calculators, flight time summaries, crew sharing options, and planning features that keep you organized on a daily basis.

Who can use Wilco?

Wilco is designed for both student pilots and professionals. Whether you’re training, flying for an airline, or logging hours for general aviation, Wilco adapts to your needs.

How does roster import work?

Wilco supports automatic roster import from major airline systems (e.g., AIMS eCrew, Sabre, Jeppesen, etc.). By importing your roster, you can quickly populate your logbook with all your flights, duty times, and activities in just a few taps.

For some airlines, Wilco even allows direct logbook import from their crew management system, so you don’t have to enter past flights manually.

What if my airline is not on the supported list?

If your airline isn’t listed, you can still enter flights manually. We also continuously add support for new roster formats — simply submit a request via Settings → Help → Airline Request in the app, and our team will review it.

Is Wilco free to use?

Yes. Every new user gets the full version of Wilco without restrictions for the first 100 flight hours.
Student pilots in training receive an additional 200 hours for free — because we are committed to supporting young pilots as they start their aviation journey.
After that, you can upgrade to a paid plan for unlimited logging.

Is my data safe?

Yes — your data is protected with Google Firebase security protocols. All communication between the app and the cloud is encrypted with TLS (Transport Layer Security), and all information is stored with AES-256 encryption at rest.

Only you can access your logbook unless you explicitly choose to share it with your crew.

Can I use Wilco offline?

Yes. Wilco is fully functional offline, so you can continue working even without an internet connection. You can:

  • Add flights and rosters

  • Review airport information

  • Use Tools such as duty calculators and planning features

  • Access the latest downloaded weather data — METAR, TAF, and NOTAM reports are stored locally, so the most recent updates remain available even when you’re offline.

Once you reconnect, all your data is automatically synchronized across your devices.

Can I export my logbook?

Yes. We believe you should always feel safe and never locked into one system. With Wilco, you can generate exports at any time — either as a PDF logbook compliant with EASA FTL.050 or as a CSV file for full flexibility and backup.
